Nursing and the lies it allows

Nursing in Australia is one big joke. The standards of care give young people thinking of coming into nursing a belief that they are entering some holy area and a career will follow. It is holey - the holes where truth and lies meet are obvious. The truth falls through and disappears every time.
Look at what happened to the nurse in Bundaberg who stood up to Dr. Death. She may still have a career but I bet she has a new view of the cowards around her. They did and will again turn against her because cowards always stick together. Is your parent or partner one of those people? If they turned against her when she needed their professional support, what will they do to you if you need help? Can you trust them when you really know what sort of people they are?

At Grenfell MPS, some told horrible lies about me when I tried to stop nurses giving illegal drugs to patients. "She is mad, yells all the time". Funny, I rarely saw this person as I mostly worked evening or night shifts. A cleaner said I yelled all the time. Perhaps someone ought to look into his private life with the boys at HR. They told me what a 'sweetie' he was. Perhaps his wife should know. I bet he got a promotion for saying things about me. Time will tell though, as I took a lot of photocopies with me.

What would you think about the New South Wales Nurses' Association, who takes your money and then when you need help, do nothing. With them, they are always just planning their next job move and will not stand up for anyone against an Area Health Board in case they want to return to nursing and need a job.

Most nurses now just plan their career. They will keep their mouths shut about abuse of patients, death, lies etc. Do you want to live a life of a liar and a coward? If you do, choose nursing. You will fit right in. Don't do it. Make a life for yourself with nice people and goodness and a lovely life. Do not associate with liars and cowards. In the Bible at 1 Corrinthians 15:33 it says "Do not be misled, bad assoications spoil usefull habits". Live a life of useful habits.

Internal Audit Controls flaunted

If any of your relatives have suffered in pain in Australia waiting for the hospital to put them on a list - you might be interested in where the money goes that does not go to the patients who need it.
Nurses and overtime is a good one. They take sickies and get their mates to work a double shift with no meal break. Funny how this happens on a Saturday or Sunday and attracted TRIPPLE time. Yes, real heroes that bunch. Effectively, they were stealing from patients who need help.

And what do these heroes of internal audit do with their day over here? The internal auditor at one hospital just went from the front door, where he smoked, to the back door, where he smoked. Between the smell of smoke and alchohol, he did not get much auditing done. And when he did, if it looked like his mates were implicated, he 'fixed it up' behind the scenes. Things were happening right under his nose but he could not see for the fumes from cigarettes and booze.

A Head Cleaner at one organisation used to get the staff to go to his home and farm and get them working there for a day or so. He billed their wages out to the hospital. This is Ghosting of wages in a new form. This went on for years and the female manager tried to stop it, but being a male dominated health service (most are in Australia) it was corrupt and picked on her instead. Finally they acted but her health was shot and they took no legal action against the man. After all, they would not want to publish to the people in the area that this was going on right under their noses.

They then promote and protect their mates and it is 'closed shop' for corrupted health officials in Australia, as demonstrated by the Dr. Death farce in Queensland. They gave him an employee award. Laugh a minute in Australia. Laugh or cry.

Nursing in Australia - a health hazard for staff

So, you want to be a nurse. You go to University and pay through the nose to do a course that is so worthless, credits are hard to find in another course to get out. Then you go to work in the 'system'. You meet doctors that have not even a sound knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology and you soon find out that the laws are structured so that if anything goes wrong, the Registered Nurse is responsible. YOU are on the spot. You have the option of going along and keeping your mouth shut and doctoring reports (this makes it impossible for patients and relatives to get a court action going) lying barefaced to investigators, getting a promotion then because you have proved that you are 'one of the crowd' and spending your life KNOWING that you are not the person you should be or wanted to be. Being the person you want to be means finding the courage to be brave and protect others. You are your brothers keeper.
A psychiatrist told me that when he came to Australia, he had to 'do his time' in a New South Wales Mental Institution - I will not dignify it with the use of hospital. He knew that the nurses were bashing and drugging patients and sticking together to cover it up. There was another trainee psychiatrist. HE belived in the care of patients and standing up for them, doing the right thing etc. The nurses, if they liked you, did not call you out all night. They let you get sleep between shifts. They also did not put in false statements againt you which could ruin a career. They did not like the 2nd psychiatrist becasue he was a good person. So they called him out all night long for trivial matters. Mad sure he had not sleep. Made his life hell. Becasue he was a good doctor and they had to get rid of him. The first doctor knew what was happening but put his career first and kept his mouth shut. I do not know what happened to the good doctor. Died from exhaustion or had his career stopped by false claims.
The point is - is the doctor who did not stand up for the patients, the one who put his career first, the coward - is he your father, brother, uncle or worse, is he your doctor. Perhaps you wonder why you are not getting well - bottom line, years ago he put money before integrity and will do that for the rest of his life. He is always now at the mercy of bad and rogue nurses because they KNOW his measure. He is a prisoner of badness and lack of courage. What do you think of him? Would you do that?

Is courage valued?

Ask yourself what type of people you mix with. Do they brave new fields, but only for their own passions? Or do they brave new fields in order to find ways to help the less equipped of the world? Actions are interesting but Motive is everything. And only you really know if your motive is altrustic or selfish. Are you worried about getting rich in goods and material things? Then worry about your motive. You will be feeling shallow in later years because the internal things you gain from being altrustic make you feel serene inside. They make every day shine and people have a sort of glow to them. You will not look at people and think "What do they want from me?". They will look at you and wish that you would pour some of your serenity on them. Be braver as you grow older. Experiment and learn new thing. Teach others. An eight year old boy taught me how to use and IPod and I am learning Italian from byki.com. Grow and flourish and give thanks to Jehovah God each day and he will bless your life with love. Value the courage to live and love and be different.

Personality Disorders are the new age warriors for truth

I have stood up for patients and been slam dunked by the NSW Health Department for doing that. If anyone finds out what their managers and other nurses have been doing, it makes the department look bad. Pathetic, actually. Sticks and stones may break my bones but false diagnosis by psychologists and psychiatrists hired as 'guns' by the department, will never work. So, if they call you a personailty disorder for being a strong person and doing the right thing - be proud. Be strong. If it is a disorder to be good, be more disordered. Have a nice day. Stick it to 'em babe!

How do they get away with it?

How do bad people prosper? By sticking together and convincing others that bad is good. Simple but effective. And evil. I remember a nurse in Sydney at a well known psychiatric hospital. She was beautiful, well spoken, kind and a good nurse. She was a threat to the bad nurses, predominantly male. They 'knew' her type. They saw through her to her innate goodness. They knew that if she saw them bashing patients, or giving unwarranted drugs, drinking alcohol at work or any other 'male nurse thing', that she would report them. Not that reporting them would do any good. She would only have reported them to their mates. Anyway, they got her.
She had a lovely, sporty, expensive car. One night when she was on night shift, they poured paint all over it. The last time I saw her, she looked stunned. She could not look at me. She knew that no matter how good she was, she would go nowhere because she was a good person.
You have to make some choices and she made a very painful one. She left the hospital. Wherever she went, they were lucky to get her. The male nurses (baggy pants, they are called) all stayed there. Getting unwarranted overtime. Bullying, bashing lying and getting promoted.
A psychiatrist told me that when he was training, he saw a male nurse bashing patients. He could not do anything about it because it would have been a career ender. False accusations would have been brought against him and by the time he cleared his name, his future would be over. Many years later he saw the male nurse again. He said that the nurse is now near the top of Mental Health in this state. Crooks prosper in this system of things.
I have chosen to stay on the narrow path. So, what choices will you make.
