Is courage valued?

Ask yourself what type of people you mix with. Do they brave new fields, but only for their own passions? Or do they brave new fields in order to find ways to help the less equipped of the world? Actions are interesting but Motive is everything. And only you really know if your motive is altrustic or selfish. Are you worried about getting rich in goods and material things? Then worry about your motive. You will be feeling shallow in later years because the internal things you gain from being altrustic make you feel serene inside. They make every day shine and people have a sort of glow to them. You will not look at people and think "What do they want from me?". They will look at you and wish that you would pour some of your serenity on them. Be braver as you grow older. Experiment and learn new thing. Teach others.
